Resin moulds are used as interleavers in the production of textured fibre- or wood cement sheets.
Since 1995, Sitomeca has been a supplier of Composite Mould Plates (CMP’s) for the fibre- and wood cement industry.
The development of embossed composite resin moulds allows the faithful reproduction of textures amongst which slate, stone, brick or wood on coatings made out of fibre- and wood cement.
The moulds enable Sitomeca’s customers to propose innovative textured fibre- and wood cement boards to their end-customers, used as roof, wall and ceiling coverings in houses and buildings.
The tolerances are checked at each phase of the production to ensure an impeccable quality and an unmatched precision.

Sitomeca’s textures are subdivided in its classic patterns and its new patterns. The classic patterns comprise the stone-, stuco, slate-, wood- and brick structures. The new patterns can be developed on demand. Sitomeca invites its customers to browse through its pattern library, as to get an idea of the creative possibilities its resin moulds enable.
The Stucco structure enables Sitomeca’s customers to propose an authentic and ancient look to their end-customers.
The Brick pattern reproduces the brick structure of walls. Sitomeca’s Brick structure is proposed in two sizes of bricks.
The Stone structure is based on the pattern of sedimentary rocks. This pattern will create a final texture that will look rough, strong and embossed.
Resin moulds are ideal to test new patterns in a customer’s respective market. On demand, Sitomeca is able to reproduce a virtually endless amount of textures for its customers’ innovative projects. It proposes to develop custom-made textures under exclusivity agreements. Sitomeca invites you to challenge this opportunity by sending us your requirements.
The Wood structure is one of Sitomeca’s classics, and reproduces a realistic print of the fibrous structure of wood.
The Wood structure is proposed in the cedar, yellow pine and temple finishes.
The Slate pattern accurately reproduces flat sheets made out of metamorphic rock.
Sitomeca proposes the Slate structure in 3 finishes: smooth, medium and deep
the customer. The results of the controls are compiled into a data sheet, indicating if all measurements are within the agreed tolerances.
